My Plan For The Holiday Break

Christmas is probably the most special day of a year for children. One thing that makes it special is the popular tradition of Santa Claus. Children think that Santa Claus brings the gifts to them.

I think Santa Claus is the personification of Christmas.

We have about three weeks' vacation for Christmas. My friends and I had an animated discussion about our Christmas plan last week. We plan to spend a few days in Los Angeles, and rent a car there. Then, we will drive to Las vegas. I have so many things want to buy during Christmas sale. I also want to go to Disneyland. I have been to Hong Kong Disneyland when I was a little girl, and it was very fun! So, I am really looking forward to the Disneyland in Los Angeles. Finally, I wish everyone has a wonderful Christmas in advance!

My Favorite American Food

My favorite American food is pizza. People usually say that pizza is an unhealthy food, so my mother does not let me eat pizza usually.  But, I think unhealthy food just taste so much better. I remember the first pizza I ate was a seafood pizza. I ate it at a pizza hut branch in China. I lost my heart to pizza when the first time I ate it!

This is my favorite pizzeria, "Pizza Hut!"

I eat pizza about once a week now. I do not like frozen pizzas because they have only a few toppings. I love pizza hut’s pizzas which have substantial toppings and strong cheese flavor! Let's go to pizza hut together!

Seattle Aquarium

The United States has so many great scenic spots, such as Seattle center,Washington Monument, Children’s Museum, and Seattle Aquarium. Not long after I came to the United States, my friend and I went to the Seattle Aquarium.

This is a tank of fish in the Seattle Aquarium.

 It was very fun. The aquarium has many tanks of fish and jellyfish. That were beautiful! I also saw many water birds. I love the sound of those birds. It was as if I stood on the headland when I heard those sounds. After we visited the Seattle Aquarium, we ate some dilicious sea food in a sea food restaurant which is close to the aquarium. That are not very expensive, so I suggest you guys can go there and try it!

My life at Cascadia Community College

I came to Cascadia Community College in the winter of 2010. It has so many great instructors. I was not accustomed to living in the U.S, but the instructors of Cascadia who let me feel really warm that time. The learning environment of Cascadia is good also. Most of my classmates study very hard. This kind of thoughts largely influenced my attitude of study. Compared with my classmates, my grades are not good; I think I should study harder and harder.
I made some friends at Cascadia, most of them are Chinese. I am introversive with few words. If people do not speak to me first, I seldom speak to them. I do not have many friends. So, friends mean so much to me. I thank them for the many kindness they show me. I really like my life at Cascadia Community College. I will remember that forever.

My apartment and my roommate

     My friend and I live in an apartment which is unfurnished. It is in a safe neighborhood and it is convenient to shopping and transportation. I think we really lucked out finding this likely apartment for such a low rent. Our apartment is small but very cozy.

"ASBURY PARK" is our apartment's name.

We live in this apartment buliding.

     I think live with roommate is better than live with myself. My roommate always take care of me, and we can share the housework. I like cooking so I cook, and my roommate wash the dishes. He is a considerate person. We get along very well. I really like my apartment and my roommate.
